Piqued Report post Posted June 30, 2018 Which machine is better for stitching 2 or 3 layers of 2mm thick vegetable tanned leather? Mitsubishi 340/ 350 or Juki 341n? Planning to make bags and wallets. Thanks!
Uwe Report post Posted July 2, 2018 The Juki LS-341N is well supported in terms of available information, manuals and parts. The Juki is a good choice for sewing bags and wallets and should handle 6mm veg tan leather without trouble. I know nothing about the Mitsubishi and there's almost no information available online. They may be fine machines, but you won't get much help because very few people know or own them. So unless you have local support and resources for the Mitsubishi, I'd recommend the Juki.
