chadbsr Report post Posted September 14, 2018 My latest holster, the customer hasn't received it yet. Hope they like it as much as I do.
Rockoboy Report post Posted September 14, 2018 Do you have any more pics, specifically the other side? I like a colour and the monogram is really nicely done. Watch your spacing between the letters.
chadbsr Report post Posted September 14, 2018 Thanks rockoboy. I need to pick up one of those letter stamp guides. Here is the back.
Rockoboy Report post Posted September 14, 2018 I thought the stitching (in the 1st image) might have needed a little bit of practice, but I see the stitching is identical on the back. Is that a design feature? ... I still like that green, especially the lighter streaks. Almost looks like sunlight refracting through water.
chadbsr Report post Posted September 15, 2018 The stitching steps inward a bit after the trigger guard to hold tighter. I still want to get some diamond chisels so I can get the true zig zag saddle stitch. The green was a nice surprise. I was skeptical when my customer asked for it but I love how it turned out. The leather I used had a pretty heavy grain and Iwas able to keep the dye mostly out of the lower parts. I like the undyed monogram too. Its kind of the reverse of antiquing.
