Is that a design feature? ... I still like that green, especially the lighter streaks. Almost looks like sunlight refracting through water. Members chadbsr Posted September 15, 2018 Author Members Report Posted September 15, 2018 The stitching steps inward a bit after the trigger guard to hold tighter. I still want to get some diamond chisels so I can get the true zig zag saddle stitch. The green was a nice surprise. I was skeptical when my customer asked for it but I love how it turned out. The leather I used had a pretty heavy grain and Iwas able to keep the dye mostly out of the lower parts. I like the undyed monogram too. Its kind of the reverse of antiquing. Quote
