Another one from the archive I was just reminded about when talking about a holster recently posted and asking what gun it was for.

This goes with a Crosman 1861 Shiloh pellet pistol which is modeled after the U.S. Civil War Remington cap and ball revolver.

I was using up some harness leather which tooled OK but very hard to edge but it ended up with an oldie tymme feel to it.

First toe plug as well and I am OK with how it came and learned a few does and don'ts.

it is boarder stamped, creased and rolled boarder patterned as well.... why not eh?

It was made for fun and me and I was very fond of it but on a cash raising campaign I sold it with one of my Shilohs. Perhaps time to make a new one!

Good looking holster, it would be right at home on one of the pages of Packing Iron.  Good job with the toe plug, I've only done a few and for me they are a pain.

Thanks Regis... and yes i was definitly inspired by packing iron... just looked through it again last week actually.
