Members howlback Posted September 18, 2018 Members Report Posted September 18, 2018 In this instance, I need to edge all the way to the very end of these slits. Punch a little hole to allow relief for the nose of the edger? Quote
Members Stetson912 Posted September 18, 2018 Members Report Posted September 18, 2018 Well depending on what you are using the slots for, it may be a good idea to punch some small holes at the end anyways to prevent tearing. If you have a small enough edge to get around that corner then that's easiest. If not, a fine bladed knife like a scalpel or exact that's real sharp can bevel out the tighter spots. Without holes punched, I'm thinking you might be able to just edge each side like normal almost. If anything g else, the exactoscalpel trick would work too Quote
Members FlatwaterLeatherGuy Posted October 9, 2018 Members Report Posted October 9, 2018 Not sure if this will help or not, but Jeremiah Watt over at Horseshoe Brand Tools has a "Tight Corner Edger that looks pretty nifty. Have a look: http://www.ranch2arena.com/hsbttightcornr.html Quote
