You can get info from their website. I'd go with the 9/11oz bridle leather, and the leather comes finished and ready to use - no need to level for uniform thickness. It doesn't re-dye that well, but you can get it a darker color than the original. it has a lot of wax in it which prevents the dye from absorbing well. You can wet form it to a degree if you really soak it in very warm water, but not as well as veg tan, of course. Quote http://blackcanyonleather.net/
