Members RecoveringA55hole Posted October 29, 2018 Members Report Posted October 29, 2018 is 3/4 oz bridle not sufficient enough for a duffle bag? If I had to guess, 5 seems more ideal. I would rather use up what I have but if it’s completely wrong I’ll just go buy another side. Quote
Members RecoveringA55hole Posted October 30, 2018 Author Members Report Posted October 30, 2018 Putting the thickness aside; am I using the wrong type of leather? Is it typical to use a a veg/bridle leather over a soft leather when making a bag? Quote
bikermutt07 Posted October 30, 2018 Report Posted October 30, 2018 I don't think you would need anything thicker, unless you want a really stiff bag. Most bags are made of chrome tanned leather. I imagine that bridle would make a spiffy looking bag. Others with more experience will be along soon. Quote
