HighVoltage Report post Posted December 8, 2018 Hello! I was wondering if anyone could help me with all kinds of tips on how to properly make this exact dog leash? I would appreciate all kind of information because I don't have any experience at all with braiding!

HighVoltage Report post Posted December 8, 2018 Thanks! It's really helpful! Any idea about the second handle? I imagine its done with 2 pieces of leather, am I right? And also, do you think I can add something to it just to make it stronger? I'm not sure if the rivet is strong enough for a big doggo
Mattsbagger Report post Posted December 8, 2018 Use copper burr rivets. They hold saddles together. And need a grinder to get them apart so........
billybopp Report post Posted December 8, 2018 It's a single LONG strip of leather with bleeder knots in three places. That video that @Mattsbagger linked should be very helpful, and I agree with him that if there is any concern about strength of the rivet, the leather will tear before a properly set copper rivet lets go. - Bill
