Using Fusion 360 should I import OBJ or STL files

Still learning but wondered if any advantage in importing OBJ or STL files to merge with solid shapes, That is for instance to import a file to make into a stamp.

It seems that larger STL files are limited in what you can do if the faces are to large, but don't really know anything about OBJ files
