ewayne53 Report post Posted February 3, 2019 I'm considering making a guitar strap. But I don't want something cheap and quick. What size/oz leather would you recommend for the top and bottom of the strap. Also what width should it be, I'm thinking a minimum of 3" up to a maximum of 4.5". I was also thinking about tying a string from the neck to the base of the body and find what is comfortable for the length. And then add 6" for adjustment when finished. I appreciate any input or if anyone has any patterns that would be great. "If the grass is greener on the other side, maybe it's because someone else is taking care of it." TomWisc Report post Posted February 3, 2019 I seem to remember a post several weeks ago discussing guitar strap and one of the people that commented was a musician who had very specific comments on making a comfortable guitar strap.
