I usually just make muzzle loading shooting bags. For a while I tried my hand at western holster rigs. Never thought much about holsters for modern arms. The other night I was looking at my 1911, and my wife's commander, and wondered why I have never tried to make a holster for them.

"No Problem," Says I. "JLS has a ton of holsters on his website. I'll download a couple of those..."

If anyone could link me up to his 1911 holsters I would be most appreciative.

Let me stress that I am not making anything for resale. I only make for friends and family these days. Any patterns that might help me out would be appreciated.

Thank you K5HEP. I used to live in Lubbock TX. Seemed I was forever driving through Amarillo, going back and forth to Missouri.

I work a lot in the Lubbock area - Slaton, Post,  Wolfforth, etc. I spent all of last week down there - not a bad town, but it is a busy place...

Those patterns from JLS Leather are great . They fit like a glove.
