Members DavidMillsSaddlery Posted May 5, 2019 Members Report Posted May 5, 2019 I’ve got two or three old machines that have wax pots on them! I’m not interested in plumbing gas or electric warmers into them! I’ve bought the stuff Campbell-Randell sells, but I don’t like what happens to it after it sits for a bit... (see pictures) is there anything else out there that won’t coagulate like this stuff? I’ve even watered it down in hopes of keeping it moist... Quote
Moderator Wizcrafts Posted May 5, 2019 Moderator Report Posted May 5, 2019 You might try getting in touch with Puritan Industries to see if they have some Ceroxylon wax left for sale. It is clear and water soluble, until it hardens. They shipped a sample quart to me in 2011 for use in my last Union Lockstitch machine. Otherwise, they sold it is gallons and larger. Quote
