OCMan Report post Posted October 22, 2019 Okay, so I have a 2mm leather cord I am using in a bracelet, and I have a clasp for it, but the 2mm cord won't pass through the clasp. So I need to attach a smaller leather loop to the end. I am planning to use a crimp tube, but I was wondering if there is something I could use to help give it more stability and ensure that the two would be joined together and not depend completely upon the crimp tube? 480volt Report post Posted October 22, 2019 If I had to do something like this I’d probably bind it with thread. If you can pierce all three cords at the start and apply enough tension as you wrap it, it should be reasonably strong. If you form a loop with the other end of the thread and bury it under the whipping, you can use that loop to pull the finished end of the thread under the wrapping so you won’t see the cut end.
