Fellow retired firefighter, I've made a few just for the guys I've spent most of my years with are now retired also.

I am from East Moline, I have have lived in Indiana for the past 30+ years My Brothers and I meet up with my Dad at a camp ground that is on an old Air Force base or I should say old military housing in Rantoul. We really enjoy that campground.

The original trailer park on chanute that the city turned into a campground, nice sites on the far south of the old base. We camp alot but have ever stayed there ( we live in town maybe a couple miles away)

We heard the university is in the works to buy it for a test facility of sorts. To bad it a pretty decent campground to meet up with my Dad a couple times a year. Oh BTW nice shield.

I don't think the U of I is building the new test track there, I thought it was the 900 area which is farther east. I hope I'm right about that but I've been known to be wrong before.
