Members lish3546 Posted December 30, 2019 Members Report Posted December 30, 2019 Hello all, I am a total noob when it comes to leatherworking. I am a machinist by trade and hoping to pick up leather carving in my spare time. I've got a basic set of tooling from Tandy and around 4 to 6 hours of practice time. Hopefully going to make a dice tray, tool roll, wrist wallet, and eventually some archery arm guards. Quote
Members Tugadude Posted December 31, 2019 Members Report Posted December 31, 2019 Welcome! There is an area where a lot of great information is stored for beginners. Check out things like edge finishing, stitching, etc. You can also search for threads on tools for beginners and even threads on.....thread! Ask questions as they come up. We all started somewhere, don't be shy. Quote
