Members JustWakinUp Posted September 11, 2007 Members Report Posted September 11, 2007 I've been making my daughters some flip flops over the past day or two. Went to the local shoe shop to get some crepe and the gentleman there had this oooober cool leather cutter. I just had to have it, it might be over kill but wow does it make life so much easier to cut leather into shapes. Anyway here's my new landis. **Not sure where I should've put this here but it is what I've been up to lately Quote

Ambassador Luke Hatley Posted September 11, 2007 Ambassador Report Posted September 11, 2007 congratulations, that is what is known as a 5 in 1 machine. as you will find out you will be able to cut very thick leather with this machine..Shoe soles, holsters, weight belts Hopefully it will have a sharp Blade. Would you mind telling me the cost? Quote Luke
Members dsenette Posted September 11, 2007 Members Report Posted September 11, 2007 hehe i like how the term "new" is used so loosely around here.... I love large machinerery and power tools like that...especially the old ones....look at a circular saw from the 40's or 50's (or even the 60's) then look at a modern one...the old ones always look more dangerous and cool Quote "We are all blind men touching an elephant. Members JustWakinUp Posted September 11, 2007 Author Members Report Posted September 11, 2007 Luke I paid $100 for this one. He has one or two left I believe but don't quote me on that. I also found a site that refurbs them as well as some older sewing machines. Leightons Equipment Quote
