Members harleybmw73 Posted April 27, 2020 Members Report Posted April 27, 2020 Several years ago I was interested in starting and doing a lot of research on carving tools but never pulled the trigger. I had found a company that several members had recommended on tools I contacted the company and they emailed me a photo copied price sheet. They were a small company but currently I can’t find out who they were or contact info. So I am asking for advice on carving tool set that is better than Tandy and around $500 or a less. Thanks Quote
Members Scootch Posted April 27, 2020 Members Report Posted April 27, 2020 Thats about the price range of the Barry King tool set. He has a set for smaller items like belts, holsters, sheaths and then a set for larger work. These are only tooling tools. No mallet or swivel knife. They will also allow you to substitute tools i.e. vertical thumbprint for horizontal or smooth etc... The only substitution I made was to upsize the bar grounders to 35's. https://www.barrykingtools.com/sizelist.htm Scootch Quote
