Clips to Hang Leather

I just moved to a new house, setting up the new workshop, and working on a leather storage system that will hang leather from a bar. I'm looking for clips strong enough to hang hides without actually having to puncture them. What are the clips they use to hang or stretch hides at the tannery? What other clips would work? I've been through every hardware, art supply, home goods, and office supply store in my city and haven't found any good solutions. I could use clips that will hang from a bar, or those I could attach to a hanger of some sort.
