Members Handstitched Posted July 20, 2020 Members Report Posted July 20, 2020 I have occasionally done decorative ( hand) stitching on belts, but I made a pattern first . I make a pattern on tracing paper, then carefully mark out the pattern on the leather belt. I have only done free hand on rare occasions on the machine........ if I'm feeling adventurous .Free hand takes practice, but its fun . Some may have a CAD.....machine...... thingy . Takes all the fun out of it but handy if theres multiples of the same item to be stitched.
