jmacharia Report post Posted July 30, 2020 I took some veg tanned leather to a shaving machine at a local tannery after soaking it overnight in water......the machine was able to shave it but the grain side develops bumps filled with air(that's our assumption) and i can't use it like that......please help with any advice or possible solutions....I left a few hides at the tannery to so I really need to know what's wrong before they try shaving it again.
