Members 327fed Posted November 26, 2020 Members Report Posted November 26, 2020 2 questions please. I have some eco flo all in one that is dried up close to shoe polish paste. Can you dilute and re constitute it? Is it water based? Also, I ordered some boot lace hooks to make an ankle holster. Looking at these I can’t see how to set them. Special tool? Quote
Members Aven Posted November 26, 2020 Members Report Posted November 26, 2020 I can't answer the first question, but for the second one, yes. You'll need a press and a die specifically for hooks. It has a slot in it to tuck the hook part in to protect it from getting squished when you set them. Quote

It can be re-constituted by adding water. But add a wee bit of alcohol to it as well. Something like methylated spirits or rubbing alcohol will do. If the Eco has not gone too far in its thickening, about 1 alcohol to 3 water should do it. Add small amounts, shake vigorously and then let sit awhile, do this till you get it as fluid as you'd like Quote Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
