Can anyone tell me anything about this? I was given some bottles of this stuff and I know it's old (probably between 30-50 years?) and I'm wondering what sort of dye it is - oil, spirit-based, what?

Machines wot I have - Singer 51W59; Singer 331K4; Seiko STH-8BLD; Pfaff 335; CB4500.

Chinese shoe patcher; Singer 201K (old hand crank)
