possum88 Report post Posted March 26, 2021 I recently picked up this 1930-40s HH Heiser saddle and I’m going over it, checking condition, cleaning, oiling, and it needs a few areas repaired. Nothing that will effect its main structure and function, just a loose horn cover where stitching has dissolved over time and the fleece stitching has also dissolved over time. I want to glue them down to prevent further pulling and coming apart. What would be the best glue to use for this? I’ve already talked to my local saddler and he wants to glue them.
