Removing Leather Balm with Atom Wax?

So I finished dyeing a piece for a bag, applied leather Balm with Atom wax, held it up to the rest of the pieces and realized I need another round of dye.

 

Can I dye it after applying leather Balm, or do I need to remove the balm first?

And if I do need to remove it, how?

You can try denatured alcohol. Usually it will lighten the dyed leather, but if you are re-dying anyway that may not be an issue.
