oldfarmboy Report post Posted September 10, 2021 (edited) OK! Got the machine to sew. Came with two bobbin cases but missing two screws and for certain one screw is too long but they do enter so it does give lower thread tension. Followed a video found here on how to remove the hook assembly. Thought I should inspect. Wouldn't believe the amount of thread wrapped down under!! Cleaned all the parts, oiled and it sews. Hopefully all that's needed now are proper bobbin tension screws. Would be metric of course but wonder what size? Escritar Report post Posted November 12, 2022 I'm assuming the tension screws you are referring to are the two screws that attached the tension spring to the bobbin cap,is that correct? Did you ever find the correct bobbin cap tension spring screws for your Adler 67? I am having a similar problem, except that the screws I keep getting are the larger screws for the 167 bobbin cap.
