A ball and a stick, that is all we used to need to entertain ourselves for hours on end.  Nicely done!

 we didn't have to use a stick. But the feaid was a cow pasture and the dried cow pies were are bases and a dog for a catcher.

or the neighbors crab apples lol. man we used to make a mess. Stewarts pics always bring back the memories.

yes they do.  I once found a golf ball, so I took a scrap piece of metal pipe, hammered the end flat like a club, and beat the tar out of that golf ball all over the pecan orchard.  I think a few pecans suffered as well.

I keep waiting for one of his coasters to evoke that memory, lol.  :popcorn:

Didn't have pecans around here but up in north florida they did. Couldn't pick them up when visting realitives.Big No-no.

Why?  we used to gather pecans then sit on the front porch cracking them.

They sold themis what my dad said. Did not. make since to a kid and still doesn't now.

My Uncle , where we visted,owned a feed store.It should hve had the name of Big Thumb Feed.

 Seems thats what help start the store. One big thumb on the scale.
