Members ctlippolis Posted October 30, 2021 Members Report Posted October 30, 2021 (edited) hi people... I'm restoring this durkopp 252-4 , a strong and versatile zigzag machine, but it's a little poor of information about that... it's vwry similar a singer 107w and 143w, but with some proprietary particularities...one doubt about it is this red marked bushing bearing, where works the shootle hook case axle... there's a screw to supposedly hold this, but in this moment, to adjust the hook/needle proximity, i need to make a tool with nut and bolt to move it,.. there's some marks of hammered, indicating the previus owner had problem with this...my question is- this part is naturally tight in the machine body or it should be easily moved, releasing the screw in yellow (its hidden in image, but just above) thanks for any experience... Northmount Posted October 30, 2021 Report Posted October 30, 2021 @ctlippolis Welcome to LW. I moved your post to leather sewing machines where most of the machine guys hang out. You should get some feedback here soon. Quote
