OneShort Report post Posted November 16, 2021 I recently bought a Consew 206 RB-5. In taking off the front cover on the needle end of the machine I found a oil wick that is hanging above the thread and lower feed dogs. See oil wick included photo behind the seam ripper (you might have to scroll down some to see where it ends). Can someone else with the same machine verify this oil wick is where it is supposed to be? It seems like it would drip oil unto the material being sewn. I have found some pics from RB1 to RB4's but they don't have this wick in the pictures I've seen. If it is routed differently, can you include a picture of how it should be? Thanks much, Steve (aka one[wick]short in this case)

Constabulary Report post Posted April 11, 2022 usually the wick end is hanging into a small "pit" in the casting where access oil is collected which is behind the 3 bars. Not sure if it is the same on the 206 but maybe worth checking.
