Kaylee092092 Report post Posted November 27, 2021 I have an Adler 205-370 that I recently purchased. I’ve gotten the shims from Weaver but I don’t know how they correlate to needle and thread size. Any help understanding this would be greatly appreciated!
Arturomex Report post Posted November 27, 2021 Uwe has a video on Youtube about the 205-370 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERgFQjsVG3s If you've already watched it, I apologize for the redundancy but pretty much everything he puts up there is worth watching... There was also some discussion here: https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/93361-adler-205-spacers/
shoepatcher Report post Posted November 28, 2021 180 shim for size #180 needle, 200 for size #200 needle, 230 for #230 needle, etc. You can use a larger shim with a smaller needle BUT you CANNOT use a smaller shim with a bigger needle!!! glenn
