Members Kaylee092092 Posted November 27, 2021 Members Report Posted November 27, 2021 I have an Adler 205-370 that I recently purchased. I’ve gotten the shims from Weaver but I don’t know how they correlate to needle and thread size. Any help understanding this would be greatly appreciated! Quote
Members Arturomex Posted November 27, 2021 Members Report Posted November 27, 2021 Uwe has a video on Youtube about the 205-370 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERgFQjsVG3s If you've already watched it, I apologize for the redundancy but pretty much everything he puts up there is worth watching... There was also some discussion here: https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/93361-adler-205-spacers/ Quote
Members shoepatcher Posted November 28, 2021 Members Report Posted November 28, 2021 180 shim for size #180 needle, 200 for size #200 needle, 230 for #230 needle, etc. You can use a larger shim with a smaller needle BUT you CANNOT use a smaller shim with a bigger needle!!! glenn Quote
