Members jcgarrett Posted December 12, 2021 Members Report Posted December 12, 2021 We have a Cobra Class 5110. We switched thread from what was in it when we first bought it to a slightly thicker thread #69. We didnt not change the tension on the bobbin when we first used it and it had bogged down with some of the bobbin thread and upper thread getting around the bobbin area. We had taken the 2 screws off the little metal piece to try to get the bobbin holder out and we understand that you have to turn it to have it at a certain point but we cant get it where it will come out. We have the latch lever up and trying to pull it out at different points. We ended up breaking the tab off of the bobbin holder. Any ideas on how to get it out? We have watched the video on youtube on a different brand on how to do it but just not working. Quote
CowboyBob Posted December 14, 2021 Report Posted December 14, 2021 Put some oil all the way around it & tap the part counterclockwise with a screwdriver & small hammer. Quote
