Members WarDaddy Posted October 11, 2007 Members Report Posted October 11, 2007 I am a new Cub Scout leader and my first leather project has fallen into my lap. I went to the local Leather Factory store and they provided me with a bunch of scrap material to teach the boys with. Are there any good sources for inexpensive tools? Since I am spending the boys money, I want to be as thrifty as possiable. I am thinking local Pwan shops, but I doubt I will be lucky there. I am also thinking yard sales, but again it is a tough road. Do you have any sugggestions as to where I can look for a few starter tools? Thanks, Bryan Land O Lakes, FL Quote
Members Dragons Pearl Posted October 11, 2007 Members Report Posted October 11, 2007 I would check yard sales, estate sales and ebay. You also may want to check around at some cobbler shops to see if they know of anyone getting out of leather or they may have some tools for sale. Or see if a local Tandy store would be willing to sponsor. Who knows, the answer is always no if you don't ask. Quote
