Members BFaehn Posted February 14, 2022 Members Report Posted February 14, 2022 (edited) I'm working on my first inlay belt. I'm just not sure on process for taking care of the leather. Once I have my belt dyed and assembled what do I want to make sure I do for longevity of the leather lasting and wearing good and for a final finished project? What is your "final finishes" you always do? Products used ect? Edited February 14, 2022 by BFaehn Mispelled Quote
CFM tsunkasapa Posted February 15, 2022 CFM Report Posted February 15, 2022 (edited) I use this on all but my 'outdoor' projects. Not a big fan of the plastic finishes. I give a light coat of NFO, and follow with Bee Natural 12-24 hrs after. Leather Finish - 8oz (beenaturalleathercare.com) They have a number of good products that I use on my work boots, buckskins and such. I have not tried their resist product, but after what I have is gone, that will be next. Edited February 15, 2022 by tsunkasapa Quote Hoka Hey! Today, tomorrow, next week, what does it matter?
