I'm working on my first inlay belt. I'm just not sure on process for taking care of the leather. Once I have my belt dyed and assembled what do I want to make sure I  do for longevity of the leather lasting and wearing good and for a final finished project? What is your "final finishes" you always do? Products used ect?

I use this on all but my 'outdoor' projects. Not a big fan of the plastic finishes. I give a light coat of NFO, and follow with Bee Natural 12-24 hrs after.

Leather Finish - 8oz (beenaturalleathercare.com)

They have a number of good products that I use on my work boots, buckskins and such. I have not tried their resist product, but after what I have is gone, that will be next.
