Eye Surgery. ! Done And 1 To Go.

Recommended Posts

Well the cataracts needed to go. One eye on August 16.The anticipation was worse

then the procedure. Nest one is on the 27th of this month.

Tried to do a Baseball but depth perception was way off.The guy it is for was ok with

a latter date.

My old Glasses are history. I am ok with that..When it's all done with our house will

not be lit up lake a Battleship.and my tooling will improve. Looking forward to that.

Now shadows are just that and not what my mind execrates.

Joe.

Mornin Joe.

Happy to hear that all went well with the surgery.

I'm told that the process is much easier today than a few years ago. Hope so.

Take care and you will soon be at 100%.

God Bless.

Ray

Had the same thing done last year and a whole new world opened up. I wore glasses for 50 years and now i only have to wear reading glasses for fine print and work. When i was working with one eye done i found that closing the bad eye really helped on doing somethings.

I just had the lense replaced in my left eye 8/13..Was amazed at how simple it was! Was only in there about 10 min.Was able to drive to follow up appt next day. Will still have to wear reading glasses also, but can see great. Will be different being able to tool while seeing out of both eyes. Looking forward to getting back to horsehair hitching too....Good luck with yours......Ken

I had both eyes done a couple years ago. I have to wear glasses to see anything closer than a foot or so, however I no longer need glasses for anything else. It is well worth it in the end.

Good luck.

I will be good as almost new.

I have had 4 eye surgeries 2 cataract and 2 behind the eyes. The first behind the eyes surgery fixed the no muscle problem only for a few months. In the second behind the eyes surgery they put in silicone bands to help me hold my eyelids open. They were attached up under the skin on my forehead and they have worked great, but they are wearing out and one has pulled loose. It has been 12 years and I will have to have them renewed in the next few years. My Cataract surgeries were not a problem for me and i would encourage anybody with cataract problems that really bother them to have that done, it will change your everyday life. -- Tex
