I'm from Chicago, I am looking for a place that sells Python for a great price. I am now paying $160 per hide. Willing to order out of the USA, any response is much appreciated. camano ridge Report post Posted December 10, 2014 (edited) I don't think your going to find good quality Python for much less then that. Doing a quick search on ebay I seen from $105.00 - $185.00. However you don't know what your getting until you get it. Roje usually provides good quality legal hides. Pan American is another you might try though I think there price will be close to the same. Tandy had it on sale a couple of time a year or so ago, however I have not seen it in the store near me for a while. I don't know how large the skins you have been getting are, springfield leather is selling theirs for $80.00 a meter. NVLeatherWorx Report post Posted December 10, 2014 The best source here in the U.S. is from Springfield Leather; Tandy carries it but they don't list it on their website anymore because they can't sell it to anyone in California due to their restrictions on everything under the Sun. I get California customers asking me for Python skin items all of the time and I have to promptly decline because you can't even ship a finished product with to that State without breaking their laws. Python is not a cheap material and if you were to find anywhere else, especially outside of the U.S. for a better price than you find from suppliers here then you should question the quality big time.
