I like it ! Forgive my ignorance but how do you manage to get a dark background and lighter contrasting flowers? Is the dye painted on meticulously avoiding the flowers?

Meticulous, painstaking...good descriptors. I usually use more colorful terms.

Nice one! Perhaps leaving a small border all along the belt would have given the design more depth.
