  1. Hello, Wondering if anyone has had any experience with either on of these lace making devices? There is one that appears regularly on ebay: 230331439514 as of 3-18-09 or try: "Leather Braiders Lace Maker Beveler and Splitter Tool" Then there is the "Lace Master" at www.lacemaster.com Considering how expensive leather lace has become especially kangaroo, I have been looking at these devices as possible options for making lace as opposed to buying spooled lace from Tandy or other sources. If anyone has used these devices, I would be very interested in your opinion and input. Or am I better off continuing to by pre-fabricated lace? Thanks, CygnusX1
  2. I am not familiar with Tandy Leather Factory X-1 Leather Dressing. I am assuming it is an oil based finish / conditioner or protective coating? There is an auction on ebay - search for: 130291444454 that contains two 32oz bottles. I just checked the TLF web site and it appears to no longer be available. Is this another product that has fallen victom to overzealous Eco-extremism?
  3. VERY NICE! I have been planning my first filligree project. But the one thing that I have been wondering about is the the application of the glue. I have always applied Barge to both pieces that are to be glued, wait, then place the two together. But, with filligree, there is the issue of alignment so that the glue on the background piece does not end up in the wrong place. Do you not worry about placing the glue on the background piece and just glue them together anyway. I have a feeling that I am over analizing how to do this. Thanks for any responces.
  4. Nice work! What machine are you using for your stitching?
  5. ROTFL and CHOKEING! GREAT LINE! They don't know anything about electronics either!
  6. Thanks Peter and Rawhide!
  7. Kevin, just visited your MySpace page after seeing this wallet. Stunning work! What machine do you use for your stitching?
