It's All Your Fault~

Recommended Posts

Happy Anniversary to me next month. 3 years lurking on this board. Minding my own business, goofing around on the internet...I find this "community" of professionals, hobbyist, and hangers on. I was doing fine- Blissfully ignorant. Then, THEN. I start spending hours learning from you folks. Entertaining, enlightening, educational. and INSPIRING!

Met a good friend - Raysouth. Have learned from so many. Today I received a big box of leather from +gasp+ Tandy (great sale). For the first time I ordered a whole side of brown cow. A pig split and double shoulder too! I have been purchasing tools off and on for years ( still learning to use them). I have an impressive accumulation, and am blessed with an awesome place to use them, my basement.

MHW ( My Hot Wife) got me a sewing machine for Christmas 2015 from Cowboy Bob (CB3200).

WTH??? I have a freakin' full blown leather shop in my basement! I used to ^ give ^ my leather work away....I have SOLD (3) guitar straps. I Just cut out (2) rifle slings...from a SIDE of veg tan tooling leather. ????? No more "kits" for me! I have requests for holsters and dog collars. ( I tell everyone these will be available in "David time" - when I get around to it- still work full time).

It really is YOUR fault!

(and for that)

I thank you

David James

We are sorry. We try not to seduce people in to the world of processed dead animal skins but it's difficult to keep some people away. Please ask your wife to forgive us and hopefully things will get better :) Until then all you can do is accept that you have been assimilated and go with the flow.

Well, a month ago today my wife and I hit a deer on our Harley at 65 mph. Broad daylight. 12:30 PM.... jumped out or the ditch.

We are blessed to have survived. Both banged up pretty good. Me with shattered left wrist. Her stiches, broken nose, eye socket and rib.  road rash. we wear helmets...if we didnt, we wouldnt be here.  But we are on the mend and hope to be back to near 100 percent in the next 2-3 months.

Anyway, do what you can while you can. Don't put your dreams off for "someday"...life can change in an instant!

enjoy every minute....

hope to be in your shoes again msdeluca!!!
