Motorcycles and Biker Gear
Not all saddlebags are on horses! Bikers like quality gear they can depend on, and making and maintaining hard used leather is a challenge to any leatherworker. Show off your work! Teach the world how leatherworkers make bikes beautiful.

Sometimes I hate allowing a customer to dictate the seat art.... But you just do the best you can with what the guy wants. Here's a perfect example. Dave

Came across an ebay listing that has a reasonable price on a seat pan. Item # 180151109278 The pan is made by LaRosa designs. Anyone have any input on quality, etc.? The seller also has finished solos that are built on that particular pan. Looked pretty nice. Beeza? what do ya think? Tim

I've been asked to make a frame mounted saddle bag, or side bag. I have an example of what the guy wants, but was wondering if anyone with some experience with them might have some ideas? Having talked to some folks who've used them I know of some of the shortcomings of some of the designs, things blowing out while riding noise from the flapping and such and was curious if anyone had ideas on how to remedy some of these things. Here's the example he wants duplicated with different dimensions: Any input would be appreciated, Thanks. John

Hi all, Thought I would post a couple new tank panels I finished today. This style/size panel fits the Harley Softail models. I usually make 'em with pockets for storage, but some customers want the "flat" version as shown here. On a bike with the right paint or theme, the tank panel really completes the look!

Hey everyone, I am new to the board and I have to admit I have been lurking for about a month. I just picked up leathercraft with the intention of making motorcycle seats, I have finished my first and while it is a nice seat (pics soon) What the seat ultimately was; was a huge learning experience! Between David and Beeza I figured out most of the process the only thing I would like to improve is my patterns. I am making seats for honda cruisers (VTX 1300R) for myself and a buddy. Okay, so heres my question how do you guys go about making a seat pattern? Any help would be cool. I am in awe of your work, Dunc
