saddle 1 near side

Undercut swells, 5 1/2" cantle, 15" seat. Of course stirrups aren't original to saddle but was purchased for using. A great sitting old saddle with a decent gullet (not too narrow). Haven't found a maker or number on it but haven't taken it down to the tree yet either, as it was purchased in great using condition

I would simply love to have an old saddle like that. It is the type we used when I was "much" younger, . . . especially the steel horn and straight up seat.

Brings back some fond memories. Thanks for sharing.

May God bless,

Dwight

I have one with the same high back seat. It was my mom's, all of us kids rode it and now the grandkids.

If these saddles could talk, right?... I would be a captive audience for sure!
