  1. OMG.....!!!!!

Who would do something like that to such a beauty of machinery with the name ADLER on it.....shame to the last keeper of this jewel !

I certainly would bring it back to working condition and use the heck out of it....these 205's are beautiful machines.....and a hand crank is no problem....just think of the cobbler machines...they all have a hand wheel on it and can be operated smoothly. I have a hand crank on my Singer 99 and others....works well. Now ya all go and oil bath these Adlers and make em work again!!

  2. Someone has a Merrow ??? Sewingmaschine for sell....is it usable for anything, what is it for and what value would it have...no picture yet and no clue what model.....it is stubby boxy and small and well over 50 pounds...somebody said tshirt seamer.!?

No clue, any help would be swell...thanks

  3. Large dogs like Mastiff type dogs need a very wide collar to support their neck bone structure....a 2 inch wide collar is just fine for a St. Bernard!!

They will pull, or you have to be corrected....it is unhealthy even dangerous for a large breed to have narrow collars....has nothing to do with breaking it or giving.....it also looks silly to have an 1 inch collar on a 200 pound dog!

All my Mastiffs have 2 and 3 inch collars.

double layer 8 oz leather and connect hard ware with stitching NOT across the strap, then secure with additional Chicago screws on stress points......done!!

correction: they will pull, or have to be corrected! haha...

  4. Just done my first stingray wallet.....wow

The Adler 267 could not handle it, broke needle right away....so I went to the Adler 105 and had no problems....but the stitches looked sloppy.

So yes it makes a difference what needle we use.

The Adler uses 200 LR needles...so a very firm an stiff needle.

The idea with the stitching groove I like...will try again soon.

This shine and beauty of SR is amazing!!

Lets see how many more people can report their experience with ray leather!!!

  5. Super nice work.....And I thought gourds are only to spoon water out of a bucket in these goofy cowboy movies

I used to do pyrography myself....>> when I reached over my glowing hot heat gun,,,,,I still have the star like emblem on my forearm!!! :-) :-)

Nice work, looks almost antique...very detailed!!

Nice to see something different here!!!

    Well done..

  6. There is a great tutorial on rolled edges in how to...kings wallets does it!!

Thats how I learned !! Actually pretty easy when u get to understand it...

Main thing is use playable leather and thinner than the main leather to be edged. The sides has been put together with a weld...look up auto upholstery...common thing there...i did not use a weld rope..just folded a 3 inch strap....then sew it in between the two side panels.

Send me a PM if ya need more info....

  7. Ok.....if ya all tell nobody I let ya in on a secret....I will never abuse my beloved paintbrush with cheap acryl hobby paint, hahah...

Therefore I do these leather carvings with a handbrush only!

My airbrushes are for automotive paint ly...when I do bike gas tanks and such....

So I guess I am old school.....

    Thanks for all comments.
