  1. Super helpful guide 😊 I was trying to figure a method for my products at https://paeezleather.com
  2. Hi I’ve had good luck using a contact-cement style product (Weldwood or Barge) for heavy cowhide work, especially when I’m prepping pieces that won’t be sewn immediately. I apply a thin coat to both flesh sides, let it sit until tacky but not sticky (about 10-15 min), then press with a roller and clamp for 12-24 hours. If anyone’s interested, you can see my works in my website here : https://paeezleather.com
  3. this is nice! I like the pattern
  4. congrats on finishing your first pair, they look solid! 👏 I totally get what you said about keeping the straps balanced — I’ve had the same struggle in women’s leather shoe design. Getting the tension just right so it holds the foot without digging in is tougher than it looks 😅 Really cool to see how you handled it — awesome work!
  5. Wow, that body piece for the bucket duffle is looking 🔥 — the tooling jump-out from the surface is awesome.
  6. impressive! I really love the details, the carving and the story behind it. You can tell there’s a lot of patience (and love!) in that piece.
  7. very nice work sir! I love the details
