About Me
After finding myself laid off after over twenty years with a civil engineering firm, I am re-starting my leather business, which had lain dormant for nearly ten years. I specialize in hand-made gunleather, mostly concealed carry stuff, though I have done some western gear over the years. I've built and repaired all manner of horse tack all my life. In years past, I wrote a few articles for the Leather Crafters and Saddler's Journal, and hope to renew that once again too.
My hubby Rick and I raise Irish Draught Sporthorses, and I am consumed by our horses! We target the sporthorse market, with good all-rounders who can jump, travel and have the mind for anything. Two new foals this spring, the firs that we have raised which we own the stallion as well as the mares, so these are very special little girls! Check out the website at

I love leatherwork of all kinds, though I limit myself to what I can do well. Just got my first new leather stitcher, a Cobra Class 3, after years of running an old Landis #1 and a variety of other lesser machines. Up to now, most of my work has been hand stitched, am looking forward to being able to do decent machine work.
I really appreciate this forum - it has already been a huge source of knowledge, and I'm pleased to find old friends already here!
