This is a really interesting way to use that tool. I bought one about a year ago and can not get the hearts to line up and look right. I think this might be my new way to use this tool as the other just does not work for me. Thanks for the post!

I was thinking about taking a old wooden TV tray and cutting a hole in the middle of it, and putting glass and then attach a light to one of the legs...Just a thought, and everything is easy to get a hold of.

This is really cool. Me being a former Marine makes me like it even more. I love how the people on this forum post their own creations, it is amazing how much talent is shown here. Your visor is a good example of what people can do with some old leather! Keep up the good work!!!

I thought I would put a couple of projects on here to see if anyone could give me some pointers for later use. I have mainly done notebooks for Pastor friends of mine, but have done a purse and Bible Case. Let me know what you think.. Thanks for all your input on this forum I have learned so much from reading all the different articles on here. There are some talented people that are so willing to give out tricks of the trade, I think that is unique to this forum as others are hush hush on tips. I dont sell my stuff, I just do it because my Dad did it when I was a kid and I wanted to try it once I got old enough. So no I am in my 30's and finualy talked Dad out of his unused (for 20 years) tools. I have only been at it for a little for 2 years, but not steady with my projects. Thanks again. Lance
