    Vince, the antique dyes we get here in Australia are not as thick as Fiebings paste so it is easier to get results like mine. I haven't used Fiebings for over 40 years so am not aware of what you could use to dilute it.I suggest you post your problem on the appropriate forum and take advice from members who actually use the product.
