Here is something of my last knifemaking products. I know this is leatherworkers forum mainly, so i hope steaths are rightly here
First steath for lefthand,(knife with steer bone handle) with carved ranch brand
Second steath for righthand,(knife with arizona ironwood handle) with embossed steer head

I guess problem is HIGH temperature on store space. I have experiences with this problem .Hides loves cold and dark storage

Generally natural hides are better for wet shape and tooling than dyed hides. Is better use nat. hides on saddle parts and dye it after processing and tooling

I think you NOT crazy with your plan visit Sheridan show. I worked(for Frinta saddlery) on saddle for this show in 2005year and this year i eas on Art of Cowboy Makers show in Loveland Colorado with my personal saddle. Hope next year i visit again this show.
Is very axpensive trip for me but i had occasion meet a real Masters crafters and their work. These experiences are priceless

Yes, GRS is great engraving system. I try it in Loveland under professional supervision of Mrs. Diane Scalese. I would like to have it in my workshop, because i very interested in this work. But how you say....so little time

Thanks for very interesting debate about leather work¨,swivel knives and baboons. Now i know what is this feeling during long hours above workbench
This year i meet Bob Klenda on ACM show in Loveland Colorado. He is incredible crafter. I had occasion see Bob in action with tool on hands .His working with swivel knife-finger carving are EXCELLENT. I must say his hints about technique and tools are very helpful for me. At present i wait consignment with two new swivel knives from Barry King.
Next level i hope will be knife from Zalesak-LeatherWrangler

Yeah.. it is very interested question for me too. I have CAMO leather with "break up mossy oak"print. I bought it on Weaver company few years ago. Unfortunatelly i haven´t where i can buy this leather at present. Some advices?
