Very good points. In some cases I might be the one staying late, but the idea is that I be putting extra time in that I wouldn't have otherwise. On a $70 holster how much would you charge for the service?

I've been thinking about offering a priority service for customers that need their holster within just a few days. I was wondering if any of you guys do it and what you think about it. I can see it being beneficial to those that really do need their holster ASAP, but I can also see customers thinking its just a way of extracting more money. It wouldn't effect the order queue because that money would go toward paying someone to put extra time in at the shop, so it won't bump others back. Thoughts? Thanks

I'm curious what you guys use for adjustable retentions screws that use a rubber spacer. I've seen a number of holsters that use this, but wondered where to find the right hardware. Thanks

I'm glad I saw this thread! I've always wondered about what to do with cosmetic blem holsters. I've only sold one and its always been in the back of my mind, just knowing that its out there and it has my name on it. The customer did love the holster and has even referred a few sales to me. I've just been worried about hurting my brand. There are times, however, when I feel wasteful when I throw out a perfectly functional holster because I know there are some people that legitimately can't afford a quality holster, and so they are carrying with a $15 nylon special. I'm liking the idea of marking rejects or seconds so they are identifiable, hopefully preserving the brand. What method would you guys suggest to mark a blemished holster? Thanks, Clay

I really like duncans customs aluminum gun molds, but they do pretty limited runs so I can't always get some older guns. I'm looking to buy some used ones in a variety of models. If you have any you'd like to get rid some. Please PM me. Thanks!

I'm looking to add a thumb break to a holster, but ideally it would be adjustable because the placement will be tricky. What hardware would one use do to this? I'm pretty sure I've seen this type of thing on cheaper nylon holsters. But I'm not quite sure. Thanks

I suppose Custom isn't the right word, Let me be more descriptive. I'm looking to purchase 5-10 plain 1.5" double layer stitched leather belts per month. I would prefer a minimum order of 5 belts per order because I'm a small shop and can't tie much money up in inventory I don't mean a contractual agreement, so I suppose that was misleading, I do, however, expect to work with the same person for a few years. Well, I'm hoping for right around $60.00, although I'm not sure if that is unrealistic. I could go as high as $70.00

Just to give you more info, I will be reselling the belts and they will be sold under my company name. In the future I may look at stiffening the belts with a plastic material, would you be able to do this?

I'm looking for a leather worker to make double layer stitched belts for concealed carry. In brown and black 1.5 inch width. Price is pretty important. Please let me know if you are interested. This will be a long term agreement and I will be purchasing 5-10 a month on a custom basis.
