I got the leather from a former levis employee ,who saved it from going in the trash can.I met this guy at my local bike shop I had made him a shoulder gadget holder ,and he wondered if I could use any of it.the pieces are 7 by 36 long,I received 15 of them,he said he had about 80 of them,now trying to get more. Looks great! Can you tell us more about where you actually got the leather?

got them off of an old bag i found in a field cut them off. that would make a really nice netbook bag! well done! just curious; where did you get those beautiful metal rings on the top of the bag(i'm used to just seeing regular "D" rings?

Hello everyone I am new to this sight ,but have been making leather goods for 6 plus years now,just thought i would get your thoughts on this recycled leather messenger bag. Thought the whole Levis thing would be cool.The bags overall dimensions are 13 by 13 and the gussett is 5 inch,two rear inside flat pockets,and a divider in the main compartment.the leather is a 4 - 5 oz.

Hi everyone,I am new to this forum but have been doing leather work for 6 plus years now, a little of everything but my fav is postal and messenger bags. I am wanting to sell my tippmann Aerostitch,its a great machine but too loud for my late night sewing in the basement. It has a brand new set of operating pedals, and this is a unit that has reverse. It makes a beautiful stitch and is ready to work. I don't have a stand for it , just clamp it to my work table. The unit comes with pedals, 3 needles, regular presser foot (that's the way I got it ).
