And the last pieces to bring it all together are the lever wrap and butt cover. The wrap is made of deer skin, laced with the same hide. The butt cover is two pieces of 7/8 oz laced together with the same deer skin. There is also 1/4 inch of foam padding inside the shoulder rest.

I made this double rig for these .357 magnums. There are 24 bullet loops sewn on, matching conchos on the belt and holsters, and the belt and holsters are fully lined. It is for a 45 inch waist, and was all hand stiched.

Just look me up by my name, Joey Alent. My picture is my maker stamp with my name and company name on it. Hope to here from you, Joey Alent

  8. Hello there, I may have just what you're looking for. I have made numerous tool belts for iron workers, carpenters, and laborers. I have all my patterns ready to go. I can make hammer hangers, pliers and tape measure holders, just about you name it. I can add her initials to each item or possibly her name if it will fit. There are pictures of most of my items on my website. www.RisingSunLeatherCo.com Give the website a look and give me a call at 702 371-3125 or email me at Joey@RisingSunLeatherCo.com . Hope I can help, Joey A. Hello Leatherworkers, I moved out here to the Northwest Indiana area about a month ago from Morgantown, West Virginia, and wanted to get this girl I know back east a unique, nice present for her July 5th birthday. She is really into home improvement and such, and has always wanted a "tool belt made for women". Now, I'm not talking a pink tool belt with frills and designs all over it. I'm talking about a standard manly man leather tool belt, made to fit a girl. She's fairly skinny, so it would need to be extra small, and adjustable between very small – small, and maybe have her name engraved on the inside or something. Would anyone be able to do something like this? I understand your all time is very valuable, but being on the road and away from home means you have to express yourself as much as possible through thoughtfulness, and I don't think there would be a better present than this. I have no problem spending a little bit of money on this, not thousands of dollars, but definitely a price that is worth the quality of the product made. Please let me know ASAP! Her birthday is July 5th!
  9. First off, what type of holster are you making? Cowboy, cocealed or duty carry. 7/8 & 4/5 will be a bit thick for concealed or most other situations in fact. I use 8/9 or 9/10 unlined for cowboy (sometimes I will add a pig skin liner 1.5oz). I will use two pieces of 4/5 glued together otherwise for most all other holsters I make. When I use the two 4/5's, I wet mold the inside piece first, let it dry, then wet mold the outside piece on top of that. After that is dry, then I glue them together. You do have to be careful to make sure that you line them up just right at this point. You can go two ways here though. Because you will most likely be stiching this together you can use rubber cement because if you need to you can still adjust the two pieces after contact. Or, contact cement, that is almost an instant and permanent bond however, so BE CAREFUL, and like was said earlier, put the glue on both pieces and let stand. I don't wait long, only until the glue is tacky. Also, I start in the middle at the fold, then I do one side at a time. This helps to make sure everything is lined up. For more pictures you can visit my website at www.RisingSunLeatherCo.com Hope this helps and good luck, Joey
