    money belt

I used 4oz leather for the belt and the loops. They seem to hold up fine. I have carried it full off ammo and my gun hanging from it and it worked out just great. Only problem is I cut the leather a year before I finished it and turns out I have gained some weight sense then lol. But over all I think the weights of leather were right. Oh also I glue the leather for the loops to the backside of the front when I loop it. That may help. It's still open all the way down. Holds 1oz silver and gold perfectly. Also worked well for my hunting tags.

    Slobber strap

They are slobber straps. They connect the bit with the McCarty reins. The weight helps provide a quicker release of the rein pressure.
